For those of you who may not be computer programmers, there’s a tradition that the first program one writes when learning a new programming language simply displays the text “Hello World!” to the screen. It’s an indication that one has mastered the most elementary principles of a programming language. That, or they simply copied and pasted some sample code from a book or a tutorial. 😉
Welcome to our “Hello World!” moment in so much as we’re close to releasing our inaugural creation, S.M.A.K. robots, upon the world. This will be our first foray into the world of computer gaming and we couldn’t be more excited, if not a bit trepidatious.
Rocksson Gaming LLC was founded nearly four years ago with a hope of creating great games that are engaging, entertaining, and fun. It’s our dream to one day entertain, enthrall, and inspire others through our digital creations. Started as the creative outlet for a veteran computer programmer, Rocksson Gaming has emerged through a ridiculous amount of hard work, dedication, and plain old fashioned stubbornness mixed with die hard determination not to quit.
Even though we’ve already invested huge quantities of time and effort into it, for us, we believe our journey is just starting. We’re inviting you to come with us on that journey, to be a part of what we hope to do, and to be participants in what could be something great. So sit down, buckle up, and hold on tight because we have absolutely no idea where this is going to take us, all of us. Hopefully though, we’ll at least make it out of the driveway. Only time will tell.
